YT-1000 Part 3 Mandibles

I've been spending a lot of time working on the mandibles for this build. The drawings I have do not show a lot of detail and the inside edge of the mandibles is not shown at all, so I get to call upon some artistic license and make it up as I go. I continue to reference images of the Falcon and other models for inspiration to at least be on the right track with my work.

No details at all yet, just the basic shape.

 Armor plates on top.

 I ordered some LEGO to build mold boxes. Here I'm about to mold my greebles so I can use them on both mandibles.

 And the mostly finished mandibles.
